Like a lot of others I started collecting when I was about ten years old but unlike a lot of others that was 1955! The extent of my collecting was to look through my dad's change when he came home from work at a factory. I was allowed to keep the pennies but our budget didn't allow me to keep the half dollars so I probably missed out on a lot of great walkers. I kept the pennies in a Maxwell House coffee can and have hauled that can around for 55 more years without ever finding time to check the contents. I got that '55 last week and have been dying to show you guys! But with small cents right around the corner (at the time), I figured I'd wait and unveil it here.
