oasis: Congratulations on your 1892. Enjoy!
I also collect Canadian nickels by type, just for fun. Not much money needs to be spent, and the series is interesting with the diffewrent metals used.

An 1881 SSN Canadian large cent in EF or better that isn't in the populations report of ether grading company.
I would also like an MS-65 1973 large bead 25 cent.

Wow! we have some agreement. I am also hunting for a 1881 Canada Large cent SSN in any condition. A 1882 cent C2/C1 with the doubling in Canada, is high on the list. Another 1884 C2 Cent with the spur on the C in Victoria also. A 1894 Cent with RP9 so far has been hard to find for me. Great thread thanks!

Hmm...you make me want to start hunting for the 1871H 25c Obv1 (and 1870 25c Obv2 - the real Sasquatch?) now :)...
I've had a lot of fun hunting for the 1872 varieties, and have managed to find: 1872 die break V in Victoria 1872 die break A in Canada 1872 repunched N/N in Canada 1872 repunched A/A in Victoria
Also have a 1881 repunched N in Regina in EF, 1886 6/7 in EF, and started looking for the 1885 5/3 :)
Who knew quarters could be so much fun? :)

DBM where do you find the items people have for sale? I assume that is what you mean by WTB section. You can respond and buy items when you have 50 posts is this correct?

For me, I keep hunting the Zoell small cent doubled date varieties in red mint state condition. I am also searching for a 1972 business strike nickel dollar that will grade PCGS MS-65, hardest business strike to find in that series!

1965 1 cent type 4, MS-66. I'd also like the large bust papeldog mentioned.
