Does anyone have any of the 1995 or 1996 Atlanta games dollars to post? Please post them if you can otherwise I will continue with the remainder of the commemorative tomorrow.

I'm enjoying all the modern classic dollar commemorative ... great coins ... hoping this thread can eventually cover them all.

BTW ... modern rookie here ... how many are there in total for a complete set?

There are currently 63 silver dollar designs. When you go for Proof, BU, and mint there are 128.

1995 Special Olympic (Shriver) Dollar, the sixth commemorative for the year and a not so impressive design.

The next two will make up for this one. The Special Olympic would not be my choice for a 7070 album.

I love and support the organization depicted and have no problem with the reverse; but the obverse, oh boy.

The 1996 community service dollar is of the classic liberty type of design.

That '95 commem just leaves me speechless, though my six year old son had enough to say about it:

"that coin doesn't look nice"
"that coin is ugly"
and when asked if he would take it if it were given to him? "NO!"

From the mouth of babes...

Time for some baseball! I remember getting the mail offer from the mint and I did not buy the $5 gold Jackie Robinson , at least I got the unc FDR from that year.
