My dad had a little gift shop next to our house back in the early 80's. He got me interested in coins and everything I post about is from his collection.

I did card shows with a friend back in the 90's. Our name was Chiefszone because we were both KC Chiefs fans. When I joined ebay I think it was taken so I changed it to another Missouri sports team BLUESZONE.

I use to wear a lot of retro sports jerseys or "throwbacks" and the dealers at my local card room dubbed me "throwbackid" just went with it.

Baaaaah!

I was a huge Scooby fan growing up and once I got his voice, and mostly his laugh, down pat - I would call the other kids on their birthdays. Some of them, especially the younger ones, really thought Scooby was calling them to wish them a Happy Birthday!

I'm hoping the Due part will eventually come back to me if I can do enough nice things.

My username represents the things I spend the most time with, I am an Iron worker (Millwright)I love these little round metal discs and I enjoy metal detecting whenever I get a chance to go. and my wife says my head is as hard as steel, who can argue with that?

I used to be an avid fossil and mineral collector, but at sixty-something, I find it much easier to lift a coin or album than a large rock. Also, it's much easier to dig through a stack of 2x2's than a clay bank with a shovel. The number 45 is around when I started my second career with included the specimen collecting after retiring from the Navy.

First name of late wife and mine. Unfortunately "village idiot" (as in "filled with sound and fury...) was already taken and I'm not as clever a most of you.
