Quote: The term "dead money" is also used in a derogatory sense to refer to money put in the pot by players who are still legally eligible to win it, but who are unlikely to do so because they are unskilled, increasing the expected return of other players. Maybe I'll make it to Vegas someday to play a little tournament poker, but don't hold your breath.

Back when AOL was the first "hot" Instant Messenger for chatting online, I was reading a 3 volume book about Japanese clans warfare in the 16th century.....the main character was a teenage boy that escaped the mass killing of his whole clan, in which his dad was the clan chief. I still have the 3 books somewhere in my garage. I think the first book was called Hitori (the last name of the main character)...... I realized that Ninja and Geisha are like classes of people and they have certain codes of conduct; they are highly valued people in society but a class below nobles.
So, when I try to sign up for AOL I'm Screen Name, I want to come up with a descriptive term to describe a Ninja. That was how SilentAsian4Hire was born.
When you think of an "Asian warrior" that is a silent killer, act as a mercenary or for-hired, or working for someone else then you can think of two character: Geisha or Ninja.
I was also a fan of the Ninja Turtle TV show back in Junior High and High School.
Sidenote: Many saw my screen name and thought that I'm Asian (true), don't talk a lot (opposite in real life), and "for hire" (not the case).

acloco, Quote: alternating current locomotive Is the reference to actual railroad locomotives, or scale model railroading? Both would be interesting, just curious...

You got a late start. You should have bought a dozen copies of the first B+W oversized comic.
