from the looks of that postal van, I thought they were delivering sacks of concrete.

have a great time and don't forget to look at both sides of the coin.

Let's see. Fifty dollars per bag, 20 bags. That is 100,000 wheat pennies! It would take me a few years to search all of those. But it would be fun. I hope you are going to post statistics on your finds when you are done. And that 1926-s is a beauty.

i am actually just breaking them in to a few different lots
by decades 40 and 50, 30, 20, teen
by s mint mark, 40 and 50, 30, 20, teens
its a lot of work and the bag I am working on now is really boring its been mostly 56-58 with a lower s mint rating. I did find another 26-s which surprised me. 2 in one bag.

you cannot tell us the reason why you think they are truly unsearched? do you think that this friend of yours you get them from hoarded them a while back and never looked through them? either way, I try not to be a skeptic. I believe you! heck you found a 09S!
