I would like to know the same. I have been collecting for less than 3 months. I'm not sure if that is "new". Let me know, I have been quite active since starting this, it catches like wildfire :)

Gecko, I get quite a lot of mail from the US and sometimes it gets here in 7 - 10 days, which is normal, but sometimes the letters I get have been in the 'system' for up to 37 days, so if you're expecting something, please be patient.
I received several items from the US today, post dates were 12 July, 18 July and 18 July and 8 August, so you can see there's a huge variance.

Yeah I did expect it to take a bit. Usually my car parts take 7 to 10 days from the US. But I had some Australian people say they were sending some as well...
I hope they havent taken it from my mail box. I put in a complaint with Aust. Post. about our postie not doing his job right, actually this is the third complaint now... He leaves it hanging out the front of the letterbox so anyone can grab it. I had my bank details taken and one of my cards because he did do his job right. (i found them a few doors up opened and the card gone.)
I hope no one has taken them....

Gecko, They were sent. Please let me know if you get them! My USPS clerk said 5-10 days. It's been that.

Well I'm new to the hobby, 3 and a half weeks of hard core crh under my belt, and its safe to say I'm 100% addicted! I know the giveaways are over now, however; if anyone should choose to give away more coins I would love to have my name on the list for potential recipients!
Also, to Gecko and anyone else interested: I would love to start building up a collection of foreign coins. If anyone has extra foreign coins they would like to exchange with me for american coins I would really like to! (But I would have to pass on the average queen elizabeth canadian pennies, got enough of those already! hahah)

I would like to let trout1105 know my package arrived today. I must say I like the Florin very much and will be added to my world coin collection permanently. It is pretty cool to see the British lion and the Australian kangaroo standing shoulder to shoulder. I am not sure of the mintage however, maybe you could enlighten me!

I just got my coin from trout1105 and I must say that it is really beautiful. I would also like to know, what is the mintage?

I am very impressed with the generosity that goes on in this forum. Not only with free knowledge, but also with free starter coins? I just started collecting about 3 weeks ago and people like vermontensiom is why I stay glued to this forum for hours of the day.
