@silveroid

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, indeed I was trying to start a definitive list of all the silver bullion issuing countries. That was my intent.

I'm trying to collect every silver bullion type coin for 2013 like, some other members have done, just to take a sort-of historical snapshot of the state of the world before all heck breaks loose.

In my research, I found it very surprising that none of the South American countries, or Germany, Spain, Portugal, middle eastern, or even India and that region, issue any standard bullion (gold or silver for that matter). If anything, it's all one-of commemorative coins.

If I've missed any countries, I'd love to know about it!

Oh, I got the point.
So just make a search here (CCF) in the F15 / Fab15 topics and you will see many useful info.

If we will refer to purely bullion coins (as you said a lot of countries have .925 Commemoratives), here some famous:

Additional popular Bullion:
Australia - Lunar Zodiac I, II (Second is very good)
Russia - St.George (really poor implementation of great picture) - $60-$75
Kazakhstan - 2010 Snow Leopard - $70-$90

About Spain and Middle East:
2012 F15 RCM has some Spain coin, but it .925 Silver, less then 1 oz.
Middle East - Israel continuously issuing near-Bullion coins with Biblical thematics, nicely designed, "Yona and the Whale" won the COTY award...but again - not .999 , less than 1oz

Thanks Silveroid.

Agreed. For the purposes of the collection I am trying to create, silver bullion would be any 1oz 999 or 9999 coin that is a series or standard issue (like a maple leaf) that a country issues regularly. I'm trying to avoid the one-of type of coins or commemoratives, as they would bloat this collection into thousands of dollars :-). I believe Rodzm has the right idea.

Thanks for all the info and guidance.

My set is exactly as you said. My focus is actually bullion coins that are regularly issued by countries. Some countries have been issuing bullion coins but are so limited such as the Kiwis from New Zealand that they do not have bullion pricing such as Maples, Eagles, etc. Even coins such as Libertads carry premiums because they are limited in mintage and Pandas as well as Kookaburras and Lunars also sell at a big premium even though they are bullion coins.

I believe the Isle of Man cats are not bullion coins but I may be mistaken. They certainly are not priced as bullion and do not look like a bullion coin. Ill have to research those a bit more and may add them. I didnt know about the Ukraine coin so I may have to track that one down and may have to import at a higher price

The ukie 1 oz silvers are definitely bullion and are available from time to time from ebay. Usually for around $70. Ukraine is a relatively new issuer of bullion having only started in 2011 and only issue about 10,000 bullion coins per year at this time.

The official NZ silver bullion coin is actually the Fern, but because they are issued without a year stamped on the coin, most collectors pick up the more limited issue kiwi. This is based on the research I've done, so correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm relatively new to coin collecting, having started only last year.

Finally the Isle of Man cats series appear to be their official yearly bullion release as the issues are 999 pure, but the type of cat shown changes each year--similar to the kiwi coin or the elephant coin from Somalia. The cat coins are definitely limited issue, well under 10000 coins, so they will demand a premium.

Still surprised that Argentina nor chile or Peru issue any bullion coins, since they are commodity rich nations.

Btw, I'm a little more than half way to matching your 2013 collection. Some of the coins you have are almost impossible to find :) you must have picked them up earlier in they year when they were initially released.

What coins are you looking for that are hard to find. I actually ordered some of the hard to find coins from a German dealer. I live in Germany so some of the coins are fairly easier to get than in the states. Let me know which ones you have a hard time with and perhaps I can see if they are still available from the same dealer

Rodzm has impressive bullion collection.
I tried to recognize the coins from the picture...and didn't see nothing, that you can't order from Canada, sitting in your chair.

But, assume that coins like Andorra, "Krugerrand" etc less familiar here Canada / US.

So, take a look at this URL:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANDORRA-1-D...em3381db9c5d br /

This is ebay seller from Slovenia, I had a couple deals with him - no issues, will recommend.
The prices are good (IMO) and the shipping (to Toronto) charge is great.
Here you find bullions to start (and probably to complete) your F15.

@Silveroid Any problems getting through customs etc from that dealer in Slovenia? He has alot of stuff, I might order a few things but didn't want to get caught up in some hassle going through customs.

I had 3 orders with him, ordered 2-3 coins each time ($100-$150 per order). Since bought only .999 silver coins from him, didn't afraid from the issues with the customs.
So everything was OK.
Also communicated with him, just to be sure, that he treats the un-encapsulated (tubed) coins properly.

Thanks - I've ordered some coins from this ebay dealer. looking forward to them!

@rodzm

The cook islands 2013 is almost impossible to find. I have seen some ebay listings earlier this year, but all the sources seem to have dried up for the 2013 issue.

@ep7...the Cook Islands Bounty coin as theyre known here in Europe are actually quite plentiful and they sell for just under $30 right now plus shipping. That is quite the markup from todays spot price because in Germany silver is taxed at 7% plus premium. The 2013 Springbocks seem to be plentiful as well but those acvtually sell for just over $41. Suriname silver 1 oz coins sell for less than $30 in Germany and those are really hard to find, matter of fact I doubt you will find them anywhere from a US seler and the only one that may have them is the seller bimetalr on ebay. I've ordered from him before and never had problems.

I must say that the set I put together took quite a bit of research and there may be obscure bullion coins from 2013 that I dont know about such as the Ukraine but the list I provided should pretty much be all bullion issues available to date by the different countries. The set may also cost less than when I bought mine since I bought my coins when spot was much higher than now, but then again some of these so called bullion coins have numismatic pricing because they are so hard to get and have very limited mintage to coins such as eagles, maples, etc

There is a cool coin with a Tiger on it that will be in the F15 series. It has the name Panthera Tigris on it. Will it be sold as a non-F15 coin? Which country is it from?

So here is a silly question for those of you who are currently subscribed to the 2013 F15 subscription. Because there are more F15 coins, I believe 10 in total. Does that make this set more unique than previous years and a better value overall?

@jsinger21...

When you mean F15 coins do you mean 10 coins with the F15 privy? If so I dont think that is the case. Matter of fact I'm pretty sure the Canadian F15 set is the same one that is being sold in the German market which more than likely will only include the following with privy plus perhaps a few more coins. I'm pretty sure there will be only one or two more privy coins that I didnt list below.

Australia Kookaburra
Rwanda Cheetah
Canada Maple Leaf

Overall IMO the set is nice but not when you buy it from the mint. Yeah the privy coins are hard to come by but if you must complete the set as released by the mint then you can buy the privy coins separate when they do come up for sale. You dont get the box and all that fancy stuff but you can buy a nice wooden box for your coins and perhaps do some custom engraving from your local engraving shop if you so desire. The options are wide open when you are putting together your own presentation. Personally I keep it simple as you can see above
