Yea, I'm not a fan of slabs. Usually when I buy a coin in a slab it is either;

-An investment grade coin
-A coin I just liked the appeal of, or the price was too good to pass
-A coin I want for a set, that I will be cracking out.

I really think Grading companies should stop all this "Early release, First day, Held by So-&-So, *, Smiley face, Check +," nonsense.
Rest in Peace

I've been harping on this for quite a while now. 69 & 70 grades were almost unheard of. Now they are common. Grading & slabbing modern bullion coins-absurd! They should be NEAR perfect because of modern minting techniques. + grades & stickers-absurd! What's next-++ then +++ then ++++, etc. Why not stickers over stickers. It's all a GRAB by TPGs to get more of your money-BOYCOTT THEM !!
