So my sister, who works in a popular chain store says "Here is a coin for your collection, the automatic register rejected it." I am all excited expecting a buffalo nickel, or who knows what. What do I get?- a 2007 Washington $1 coin. Nothing wrong with it, I tell my Sister it is $1 and she should keep it, she says "no one takes those things.' How sad. |

I too think 40 or better, it is beautiful. The "3" issue seems to be common for that coin. I say this after doing a brief run through google image search. Need to consult my literature later. |

Perhaps Elon Musk should adopt the phrase "Futuramic" for the Tesla? Look it even drives itself, the ultimate in easy, futuristic, driving and you never have to add gas or look at the road again (sorta).
The coin though is a very good marketing gimmick I must say. Reminds me of a challenge coin. |

Buffalo nickels or old dimes? Either way you can most most of them very affordably. The question for you is will not filling all the holes bother you, and will you fill those holes?
The dimes will probably get you the biggest bang for the buck, but I prefer buffalo nickels, they are so majestic and a little bigger and easier on my eyes than the dimes. |
