So my sister, who works in a popular chain store says "Here is a coin for your collection, the automatic register rejected it." I am all excited expecting a buffalo nickel, or who knows what. What do I get?- a 2007 Washington $1 coin. Nothing wrong with it, I tell my Sister it is $1 and she should keep it, she says "no one takes those things.' How sad.

But it has been cleaned for your convenience, that should be worth at least $100? :-)

Agree with others, certainly not MS70 , but I believe it
is MS low 60s. It is a darn beautiful coin though, nice purchase.

I too think 40 or better, it is beautiful. The "3" issue seems to be common for that coin. I say this after doing a brief run through google image search. Need to consult my literature later.

You are quite fortunate, that is a nice Buffalo. I wonder how often they show up in change? My neighbor just brought me one she found with no date unfortunately.

My friend asked me is I knew why the left ridge looks odd, and seems to come in a bit. I do not know and am asking if anyone can identify this error and if it is a common or rare error. Thank you.

Perhaps Elon Musk should adopt the phrase "Futuramic" for the Tesla?
Look it even drives itself, the ultimate in easy, futuristic, driving and you never have to add gas or look at the road again (sorta).

The coin though is a very good marketing gimmick I must say. Reminds me of a challenge coin.

I was not referring to the helpful post of Bobby131313 about fake high BIN prices. My question was in general. Do people actually spend $10,000 plus on eBay?

I am a eBay shopper, and perhaps I am naïve. But does anyone really spend that kind of $ on eBay? That is a leap of faith I am not ready to take.

It seems to be 2 feathers, enjoy it and don't have buyer's remorse please.
You can examine it closely when it comes. Certainly an educational endeavor.

Buffalo nickels or old dimes? Either way you can most most of them very affordably. The question for you is will not filling all the holes bother you, and will you fill those holes?

The dimes will probably get you the biggest bang for the buck, but I prefer buffalo nickels, they are so majestic and a little bigger and easier on my eyes than the dimes.

Even to my bad eyes they scream copies. The contrast between the dark and shiny areas is too apparent. The rims are just too nice also.
