Thanks all. :) I looked at that thread...there are a lot of really cool ones on there. I saw somewhere online on of Bart Simpson, that one has been my favorite. LOL
I know I have been away for a bit, life happens. But I had to share this one that I found. I think its pretty cool all the detail they can get when doing these. :)
Variety Vista was the one I checked. Thats kind of my go to website. LOL but I wondered about some of those spots just being circulation flattening. But the date, mainly the 7, looked to be doubled at the top. So I wanted to ask you all. :) Thanks guys.
There are several parts of this coin that look to be thicker than normal. Especially on the date and the word IN. I have more pics if you need to see more. I looked it up on Variety Vista and there are similarities to DDO-002. What do you guys think?
Lol I told my husband I thought it looked like 2 coins put together. Instead of being on the same planchet. But I had to check with you guys. Lol thanks all! &
This looks to me as a small date over large date. I thought maybe double die, but the date is the only part that I see extra on. Especially the 9 and 6. Let me know what you guys think. :)
I just wanted to share with you guys one that I found. There is a big lamination mark that goes all the way through the obverse of the coin. It gets lighter the closer it gets to the top. But you can still see it. Pretty cool. Second one I have found like this. :)
Ok thanks coop. I see what you mean. I has just heard that term "fin" a week or so back. So didn't have much info on what it was. Thanks for the pics. ...always an extra help. ;)
Ok thanks guys. I wasn't sure so I had to ask. ;) Also I have been corrected on calling them "CENT" not "Penny"....I was confused at first, but I went and read up on it. I see why I have been corrected on it. I will have to try to get out of the habit of calling them pennies. Just been bread into me the other way....lol
So I can't tell if this is from damage, or if the earlobe was chipped. It doesn't look like a grease through. It's just missing. So wanted to get your guys thought. :)
