Thanks everyone! Pretty much what I was thinking. I didn't realize what the plug in the nickel was. Interesting that it's plugged with a quarter. Why anyone would do that is beyond me.

Lastly, did anyone have a chance to look closely at the date on the nickel? I swear it looks like it's stamped over something.

Hi. I inherited my grandmother coin collection and while I've learned alot, these two coins. One is a 69s that appears to have doubling, but I think surely it's not...lol.

The 41 nickel is just a compler4 headscratcher. What is goin on with it? And it looks like something is going on under the date as well.
