1936 Canada Dime Value

This well worn 1936 Canada dime was recently found stored individually in a very old estate and I am trying to determine if it has any value?

Why would it have been stored individually?

Any help or suggestions much appreciated.

This coin is a recent Estate Find and I fell heir to researching it?

Where and how do I start?

Is there a way to find out if it is real and really from the year 1743?

Is there anyway to learn if it could be a coin from the 1747 Shipwreck of the Dutch ship Reygersdahl?

I think at one point in it's lifetime it may have passed through ownership of Colonial Coins in Houston, Texas and so far as I can find they are not in business anymore.

Can anyone familiar with this sort of thing take a quick glance and tell if it is even worth researching?
