One seller I buy from occasionally does not update tracking info in my ebay summary/ purchases. I receive an e-mail with a tracking number/ link. |

I have posted several messages to buyers that left positive feedback for the slabbed fake gold coins they won with this in the message block through ebay. Did you know your coin is a fake (item number and title here) from wasminenowyours2012 Please read this coin forum string about this crook. https://goccf.com/t/114000&whichpage=1Just trying to help. RicardoCody. For a $30 coin, seller's usually use a cheaper type of shipping that doesn't always have tracking. I would wait at least 3 or 4 days past the estimated delivery data before getting concerned and openning a case. The seller needs a chance to resolve the issue.

Johnny54321: The easiest, and cheapest way to ship coins would be USPS First Class, which, if you print a shipping label online, gives you a tracking number. I don't know of any cheaper way to ship something, so please correct me it I'm wrong. But I ship 14"x6"x6" boxes that weight 12 ounces every day with tracking information, anywhere in the lower 48 for $3.14. Ricardocody: Many power sellers on ebay have programs that automatically leave feedback after an item is paid for. I'm assuming that's what happened here, or they leave everyone feedback the next business day. He is a "top rated" power seller, which believe it or not isn't the easiest thing to do. There are requirements in order for you to get this status (which have just become harder), and to maintain this status. It seems like they ship out a lot (3152 positive feedback in the last year). I am also a top rated seller on ebay, and only 55% of people (I just did the math) leave me feedback. So based on that number, they are around 6,000 transactions per year. Unfortunately, they might have thought that they shipped it out, and didn't, or, like johnny54321 said, they might not have uploaded tracking information (which is now a requirement to maintain top rated status as of June). Sorry for the long response, but if I were you, I would wait another week to see if it shows up. In the meantime, I would send him another message asking if there is tracking information. |

I send any coin valued at $30 or above insured/first class with delivery confirmation.
Of course you want the coin to get to the buyer safely but, first and foremost, you want to protect yourself.
What a criminal this guy is John! I think a call to the police where this guy is from (where the crime was committed) is in order here. He is defrauding people bigtime. With those dollar amounts, they would all be felonies.

I have received coins valued up to $80 in a stamp and envelope(the cheapest way to ship, but no accountability). I personally only ship really inexpensive items that way as (economy shipping)....and self insure. Also, lots of people don't print up a label from ebay and ship priority outside of ebay. The USPS isn't required to scan it until delivered(although they usually update it along the way). |

They look at it a few days later and get that message and think you haven't shipped it yet. When in reality its half way there already, it just hasn't been scanned by anyone yet. |

I have shipped a couple hundred low cost coins this way without a single loss. However, anything over ~$50 or in a slab gets shipped in a bubble mailer at the First Class parcel rate with DC. |

Here's what it says for a label that was printed today for my new Super Pro Cup Arimith billiard balls coming to me, this message will stay until the first scan no matter where it is... Quote:

Bob, thats exactly how I ship coins under $20. I also have a red "non-machinable" hand stamp which I put all over the envelope. Never had a problem. I did notice it went up from .64 cents though :-\

Closed in my favor too....(finally). I was getting worried because they went way past the promised 72 hour number. This guy has 6 negs and 2 neutrals back to back...before he gets the neg I'm about to leave him. With that much bad feedback in a row for thousands of dollars in coins; I wouldn't be surprised if this led to further prosecutions.

I just sent a coin back to Canada, Express Mail, and all the USPS tracking says is it's still in L.A., I sent this March 20! I am getting concerned. It was supposed to be 3-5 days!
I wrote the seller twice..nothing. USPS clerk told me give it more time.
I'm going Fed-Ex from now on.
