I did not see this as an attempt at bragging, rather excitement about a good deal and an attempt to share varieties with all of our members. Now because of this, we all see that you can find DDRs and DDOs in an unattributed slab or in the wild.

Don't you have to pay extra to have the coin attributed a DDR by a TPG ? They won't put it on the slab if you don't ?

This is a major variety, attribution is free. Already sold it, unfortunately. The hunt resumes...

FadeToBlack, I'm chiming in late, but I love to hear about successful cherrypicks. It is the epitome of the treasure hunt we are all engaged in.
Knowledge is valuable. Time is valuable. When you cherrypick, you use your knowledge and your time to find something others have overlooked. You deserve to receive value for your knowledge and time.
And I, for one, love to hear stories about great finds!

I agree as well. Please post your cherrypicks, so that we all can gain knowledge about varieties and other rarities.

Frankly I just don't see how they can call this a doubled die since there is no clear separation and it only occurs on the E PLURIBUS UNUM and not the rest of the reverse, The same for the 1942 where there appears to be a slight linear depression on some of the letters of HALF DOLLAR. Please explain. To me it seems varities like this is nit picking and nothing to get excited about. Ed ANA LM-3175
