Technically incorrect because the U. S. never struck a penny but 1916 D Merc solved it nonetheless.

2 Half Cents
1 cent
1 2 cent piece
2 3 cent pieces
1 5 cent piece, either a Half Dime or nickel is correct
1 20 cent piece
1 half dollar

Total = 85 cents

A total of six denominations in hand.

A hearty thank you to everyone who participated in this quiz.
