Technically incorrect because the U. S. never struck a penny but 1916 D Merc solved it nonetheless.     2 Half Cents1 cent 1 2 cent piece 2 3 cent pieces 1 5 cent piece, either a Half Dime or nickel is correct 1 20 cent piece 1 half dollar Total = 85 cents A total of six denominations in hand.
