I wouldn't go more than F12. PCGS? F15.

I would not go to a F-12. VG-10 at most.
Here is what I bought years ago as a VF-20. ANACS agreed.
It was freed and now resides in a Dansco album.

To those who guessed F-15 that is what PCGS called it.
Gradeflation.

The link to the seller is:

Seller has some nice coins. Just not this one IMO.

Feedback about my example welcome.
Thanks to all who took part.

Note: my complete collection of Barber Nickels can be found at the above link.
My thanks to Moe for his 'days of' topics. Such a nice study aid.
Eye candy, pure and simple.

No need to bow so,
I not a god, Moe.
I'm just a coin collector.
But think about this:
The pics cause me bliss,
So please keep asking for more!

That is a real beauty!

Not an expert here at all, if it was in my collection, I would give it a VF-20.

Very curious to see what it got.

Sorry I'm just a few years late, I've been busy. matthewvincent- I'm sure I'm missing something here. What was the grade of your coin? Do you still have a picture of it in the slab? Thanks!

"Repunched 1 seen below the serif. Repunched first 8 seen to the left of the middle. Repunched second 8 seen to the inner left of the upper loop"

For those wondering, the sole RPD for this date is so subtle, decent magnification is required.

Like Conder101 said, I was thinking Fine was out of the question without a full LIBERTY.

Are we seriously re-hashing a five year old thread?

It wasn't me who said that!

Besides, it's always nice to see/hear about any new updates or changes. I was hoping to hear from matthewvincent. I just wanted to see his coin in the original slab.
