SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 04/06/2015 10:01 pm I'm thinking the Mint didn't have a refined technique for basining at that point, which would have made that clash impossible. Maybe even a little die sinking at the periphery of the reverse, making the center of the coin all the more. Either way it's tough to wrap your head around. Report this Post to the Staff
