That is not an S mint cent.

The same seller has a 43 Copper cent and some other bogus error coins too.

Run away!

I think I have seen that same 1943 Copper cent listed before, seems like it was removed by ebay, but I can't remember for sure.

It's unreal that this seller has 0 negative feedback and only one neutral. With coins like he has listed, I would think there would be many unsatisfied buyers.

EDIT: I just looked at his sold listings. It's hard to believe that people have actually bought the so called errors he has listed, and paid a very hefty price for them too. Mostly damaged coins, some bringing as much as $200.00 for a coin worth $0.02.

That seller has some really rude coins listed and sold.

It only shows that when those types of coins can be sold and the buyers leave positive feedback that there are a LOT of coin buyers who never use THIS forum.

I think the "S" you see is a result of Pareidolia.

Thank you for the new awesome word you have added to my vocabulary.

I think over half of the dealers out there have no idea what they are selling. Most of them seem to know the price of Silver and Gold, but little else about the hobby.
