Outstanding set, has to be a very satisfying feeling a accomplishment! !

The past several years I've focused on sets/albums I had an above average/reasonable chance of completing with coins in above average condition. Like many sets, I thought the Liberty Head Nickel set was out of reach. The 85, 86 and 12-S would be a problem.

Your set gives me the motivation, incentive and encouragement to start one. Staying focused is the trick for me! From where I sit today, it looks doable.

Obviously like most of us, I like the look of a complete set. Like you and "just carl", I don't care for the Dansco with extra/empty holes.

I think I'll just pick-up a cheap Whitman for a starter. Two pages, no extra holes.

Thanks again for posting your set!

Very nice set. Well done. I just finished a Kennedy set with proofs and albeit it being a reasonably easy set to finish ... doing so is still very satisfying. Good luck with your next adventure.

What about that missing 1913? Oh, yeah it was an illegally struck counterfeit.
Seriously, what an accomplishment. Congratulations.

Any updates?

Just curious, out of your entire set which dates don't have entire LIBERTY showing?

Thanks.

There is something quite special about opening
a Liberty nickel album and seeing 33 Liberty Crowns
looking back. Compared to the "complete" sets offered
on ebay this set is a great accomplishment and
a treat for the eyes.
Very pleased to have seen it.

It's funny how they have two holes remaining after the 1912s... guess they expect people to not only get a 1913 but perhaps a 1913-D or S as well?

What two holes? My Whitman album goes from 1883 to 1912-S.

Oh the Dansco, never mind.

Great set. I still dislike Dansco having those empty slots at the end of all Albums.

I use these for high grade duplicates and/or to show the reverse of the coins on the front side of the page.

Maybe one is for a Racketeer Nickel.
