Same auction I also picked this up for $80 I know its not a coin but I had to share because I'm pretty excited 23k 57 gram Australian nugget.  |

Yea I'm definitely pretty excited about this trip. I guess no one was wanting gold so I had to buy it all.

i would get that nugget xrf'd, that would be one heck of a deal. That could be worth 2,500$.

I was at first until I put a little hole in it to find its the same on the inside as the outside. It also had a few small pieces of quarts stuck to it. The xrf is a good idea though.
I will let you know what I find out.

I was going to say that you waited too late and bought gold at a high price after the price has gone up, but apparently not. Congratulations!

Well I just got back from having the nugget xrf'd and I guess it's my lucky day.    It is 95% pure gold and they wanted to buy it for $2350. I declined for now. |

Very nice, congratulations. My first was the 1987 U.S. Constitution commemorative. Now I own a dozen or so different gold coins. So this is what you'll have to look forward to. Enjoy!
