Thanks Tony! I appreciate your input. I do hope to get mid 60 grades, just not too familiar with the Franklin's yet. Your advise really points me to a good direction when out shopping.
I'm not a huge fan of low grade coin of any denomination so that is my driving force here. I hope to learn quickly here so upgrading wont have to happen later.

EDIT: Very glad you are back to posting again Tony, stay well.

Well I got in another Franklin (a proof this time)
1962 (P) It only weighs in at 4.1g instead of 4.5g so it is a bit light.

Looking back at the order, the seller did not send the coin pictured. here is a link to what I was looking at:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/363663038636
I'm going to message the seller about this.

I really don't understand why your building a circulated set and a proof set at the same time . To me this would be a waste of coin funds . Lesson today : Stop buying circulated Frankies ! And stick with the Proofs PF-66-68 . Cameo's would be nice .

Well here's the thing, Tony, I already have the full series (except for 1950-1952) still in OGP. I'm collecting these now to fill a Dansco album to put up with all my others for showing. My OGP's stay locked up and hidden. I could be getting better specimens (and I should) and will in the future. But for collecting them one at a time I'm still a bit of a novice as to what to look for on these somewhat smooth coins. (to me - looking at the top of the head, it looks all worn to me, even proofs) That alone makes it a bit harder and then having to trust the sellers out there to give what they say they offer is another thing entirely. AS for my collecting pattern, I started at 1963 and am working backwards getting all 3 of each year as I go back.

In this case it means "Polished Fervently at 70 RPS".
