Since it has a green bean, I'll go with 66+
Sure is a beauty

That's a beautiful WLH. Since it has a CAC sticker (assuming green), I'm going with the holder having a 66+ on it.

It's a beauty for sure. I'll go MS66 and hope I'm wrong.

Interesting only Adam brought up the lines. So the correct answer here is MS66. I am 99% positive the lines on the Obverse are die polishing because both NGC and CAC straight graded. Also when I look at them, the lines stop as soon as they get to the sun rays or liberty. No line cuts through the details of the coin at all. I really like the coin, I also thought it looked MS67. I wonder if NGC/CAC settled on MS66 due to those die polishing lines? Do those sometimes lower the grade if they feel it affects eye appeal? I don't find them distracting however if I saw this coin raw online I would question if they were cleaning lines.

I was right!

But I wanted to be wrong.

Regarding the lines, I noticed them, but thought they were benign since as you said none of them affected the coin details. It may have affected their grading, although I did not consider them for my own opinion.

No matter what, she is still a beauty.

100% die polishing lines. I don't think they figure into the grade. There are random ticks that keep it out of 67 territory (66 CAC is great and it certainly is a looker). There is a hit on her elbow and marks in the field above IGWT, specifically above the N in IN and G in God.

they are not considered in the grade. although MS67 is not the highest possible grade. I am surprised it at least did not have a + for strike.

is that a CAC bean on that holder?

I was perusing Greysheet retail and decided to check this out. MS66 at $435, MS66 CAC at $550, and MS67 at $1,250.00. With that sort of jump, I'm sure the graders are looking really hard before giving out 67s.

Still a gorgeous Walker!
