Not sure why you are confused. Your last guess was at 3 o'clock. You had 2 of the 3, but if you had won, I would have told you.
All you have to do is review the last several entries and you will see the winner. You can't miss it.

Hey, I am a little nervous about posting but I think somebody should say something and I do like all you guys. I just feel something went wrong here if I'm reading this right. Quote: If you guys have any suggestions to make the game better, I'm always open to suggestions. When your last post with your last guess says "Posted Yesterday" then it's OK to guess again. I think these guess once a day games get a little bit extra activity, even though they could be honest mistakes. Not only does the host have to check out the answers, they have to check the times posted. Maybe there ought to be a simple remedy for this. Thanks for the game Scooby and congrats to the winner but unfortunately this game went south in my opinion. I think they should check for dimpled chads as well. If the winner simply noticed that the early guess was right but not valid and comes forth that they took advantage of the faux pas, I think the game should be replayed and maybe a bit more simplified for dummies like me. If that post by the second correct poster was completely an honest guess, not knowing Scooby thought it was over, then I suppose the prize should go to that player. Otherwise a lot of those who played might feel this game was not really fair. I would never have guessed it cause I have no idea how to solve things like this but I hate to see a win with controversy. A re-do maybe?

Not to knock weavus, but re-reading this it looks like he did just copy the correct answer first in excitement of the discovery of an early post by Adam, and took advantage of the error by Adam and Scooby by missing it. I might have done this myself in the heat of the game and in all that excitement, I don't blame weavus. It's a human thing! But look at rikcando's post. Quote: congrats Adam. That was my first pick but I saw yours and went with my alternate.
Great Game Scooby What about that? Maybe he would have won? If I am rocking the boat, I apologize but I just put on my zebra shirt for some reason. Maybe it's the college bowls or something?

wheezy, no knock taken BUT I did have the answer, no doubt. I did not just copy Adam's post. However, that said, I'm not worried about winning the prize. I couldn't prove it in a court of law but I can show you my paper that has the star next to it as I eliminated the other answers. I also posted right after Adam saying I had but got delayed by work.

Well, I had changed the rules toward the end of the game because I really needed it to be over by tonight. I'm flying out of town tomorrow and wouldn't have been able to check in and give clues or answer questions. So, I plan it playing it more like the first game in the future. I felt bad that people who had played early on might not get the new rule change, but I needed to pick the pace up. There were way too many guesses left for it to have a chance at being solved anytime soon.
Regarding Adams guess, I knew players were lined up to hit the 4PM guess button and when I refreshed the page and saw Adam's guess, I looked at the forum clock and it said 4:00:34, so I went with it. Besides, no other CORRECT guesses had been posted.
I realize rikcando said that he was going to post that same answer, but he did the mathematically correct thing to do, which was choose another combination in case the first one was wrong.
I certainly don't want anyone to be upset, that's for sure, but next time there won't be any of the "speed" guessing, it was just kind of the circumstances that I am up against for this particular weekend.
I'm pretty sure weavus was just ribbing us when he duplicated Adam's guess, but I could be wrong on that.
Don't worry, there will be re-do's!
I am open to suggestions for making the game better and more fun for everyone. Especially when it comes to the clues.

I'm not sure why I feel I need to defend myself but here is a jpeg of my 'paper'. I know I cannot prove that I did this before Adam's guess but I did. And as far as the post about the recounts, that was purely all about the 'weavus' rule. you can read about it in past mastermind games. LOL

Oh No need to defend yourself weavus and I hope you guys don't take me wrong, actually, I didn't see the rule change ( yet ). Scoobys decision is what it is no matter what anyways. Maybe somebody else was wondering like I was and now it is cleared up. I'm part of the family with you guys and gals, I am not here to cause trouble. I hope I covered that in my previous two posts. I think nothing badly of anyone so we can all relax. It's all good.

No offense wheezy brother, I probably should have addressed it when it first came up anyway. So that at least people would know why I went with it rather than wonder.
Sorry, Andrew, I've never had to deal with a Blackberry, I bet that would be difficult!

wheezy, no worries from me either. I just like to show my work so the teacher knows I did my homework! Quote: It's too hard to view on my blackberry. I can imagine that on a blackberry it would be hard to read with all of that black and then to try and follow it across all of those bumps... maybe a strawberry would work better, you just need to read between the seeds. LOL
