Dave, Great contest. It was good to learn than many CCF members need to study geography. Keep up the great work. I always enjoy your posts and contests. (I too should not be spending as much time as I do on here)
Nickleguy, congrats and good sleuthing!

I don't mean to blow my horn, I asked to forward the prize I won to a young numismatist that has been kicked into gear with a nice starter collection from other generous members from CCF. I am just one of a bunch that helped with the cause. I said I would send him a coin or something too and committed to do so but things got crazy with returning to work and coincidentally I won this contest around the same time. The beautiful Indian Head cent was sent to our new collector. I kept my promise that way and it is said that it is better to give than to receive. I'll bet that the younger guy was tickled to get that Indian. Well, I did get a nice feeling doing that but I was still rewarded for that good deed from the generosity of vermontensium's large heart. Today I come home and a found an envelope containing a nice note and inside was this cool 1829 Large Cent. It may be worn but it is very free of any problems and has nice original color. It looks better than these pictures by far and it is greatly appreciated. I am more glad to have this prize than the 1907 Indian since this coin has a little story to it and that makes it more special. Large Cents are so cool when they are problem free like this too. I will look at it often and whenever I see it as I page through my personal keeper collection and think of vermontensium and this forum. Having fun and that's what collecting coins is really all about. Thanks all!

Well, Zack received the IHC today and was blown away! I told him it was from you :-) I know you like Large Cents, so, had to send you that one. I feel very lucky and blessed in life so giving is something I really enjoy doing. Thanks for the accolades, not that I don't appreciate it, just not necessary ;-) Enjoy the coin!
