Went out and bought a couple rolls of dimes and a box of pennies, just got through sorting the pennies by date to look for errors but so far I have found : 8 Wheat cents, a 1949 dime, and a war nickle. 2 1983 pennies have the bottom of the 8 filled in, I was reading somewhere that it was possibly a 1DO-003, but I have no idea since I'm almost brand new to collecting/hunting. One of the 1952 wheat pennies may be an error, the curve of the nine is very thick compared to others of the same year. Looks like this is going to be fun!
to CCF. Look here for info on cents http://www.coppercoins.com/index.php And don't forget to look for varieties, they are easier to find then errors. John1
Congrats! Your maiden voyage was a marvelous success. Just finding one silver dime inside a couple rolls of dimes alone is an extraordinarily happy day for any roll hunter.
