Fuzzy317 Moderator United States 14463 Posts	Posted 10/09/2013 05:53 am No, Cents do not get a P for Philadelphia, the only US coin that does not. For general circulation, P for Philadelphia were not added until 1979 for SBA and 1980 for the other denominations. Report this Post to the Staff
Superhal Valued Member United States 315 Posts	Posted 10/09/2013 06:12 am And, there's 4 now. The W for West Point was added a few years ago, but you can only see it on a handful of coins. Oh, also when I look at the new pennies, it seems like the font is extremely thin. I wouldn't be surprised if a mint mark was just worn away.
