A nice split serif can be seen on the upper mintmark. The bottom serif shows evidence of a damaged punch. AMB Pillar of the Community United States 801 Posts	Posted 08/29/2014 6:44 pm That's interesting. So on that coin (CC's site) it was the PUNCH that created the damage and NOT PMD. It's so easy to just say "it's PMD" ...it's used so much when I think it's more "a possibility with options" when trying to figure out some of these anomalies. Thanks Coop.
