Need Help Identifying Greek Coin? - Coin Community Forum

wwhitman Pillar of the Community United States 1415 Posts	Posted 01/01/2015 11:55 am I picked up this (identified?) Greek coin for my grandson, who is 2 and a half. Every holiday I try to pick up something different so hopefully he will get the 'bug' later. This one was identified as: Kings of Macedonia Alexander III the great 336-323 bc. obv: youthful head of apollo right rev: horse galloping right I could not find a confirmation.
