sandwich5027 New Member United States 44 Posts	Posted 02/07/2015 7:30 pm Hi guys, First I want to thsnk you guys for advising me with my questions I had as a new collector. I 've decided that I will collect only gold bullion coins, and if they eventally have a numismatic value, then great, but I buy only at 3% -5% above spot, sometimes even less. Anyway, as a bullion buyer what do you think of gold coins that are labeled sruffy or cleaned? I buy with the intent of receiving melt value, so would cleaned coins at heavy discount be a good buy? However, the number of people wanting/willing to pay more for damaged specimens is much lower than those looking only for original coins. Report this Post to the Staff
