I have an opportunity to pick this coin up. I was wondering what everyone thought of it's grade and value. I appreciate your thoughts.

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one. I didn't realize it was actually PCGS Graded VF-25. So that helped to seal the deal. It's an all original, problem free 1810 CBH. Really nice late die state coin and I can't wait to have it in hand. Does the fact that it's graded as problem free affect your thoughts? BTW, great job for those who guessed VF-25...

Thanks,

Well,-I-Did-It...--1810-Bust-Half-Dollar

Coin's got a lot of character. Die cracks everywhere. Love this look. I give it a F-15. If you don't want it let me know who's got it for sale.

Some strike weakness which is typical, VF-25. Nice coin.

I would for the right price. Very attractive coin with plenty of meat left on it.

Although much of the original patina is gone it's still worth $150 or so I'd guess. VF20 and here's a similar example with better skin: http://coins.ha.com/itm/bust-half-d...ot=1x=0&y=0# that went for $176.

I really like the die cracks and it has pretty good eye appeal. For the right price I would buy it.

VF-20. I like it. I don't have a problem with its skin. Every 1810 I've seen shows strike weakness from one extent or another. Would I buy it? Depends on price.

I'd be at VF-20, probably around the $150-180 price range depending on how it looked in hand. Neat late die state, especially on the obverse. Slightly weak strike at centers, which almost all of them have. Overall a nice coin that I'd certainly like.

Thanks COTW. I will post pics as soon as it arrives. In looking at the sellers photos I believe it to be an Overton 101a. If anyone sees anything different please let me know.
