Chinese Character Assist Please - Coin Community Forum

Albert Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 01/30/2016 5:45 pm Can anyone translate this character? My last resort. I've searched for hours on end. It's on a Chinese medallion. Ministry of Industry and Agriculture 2nd place Silver award medal. I know 8 of the 9 Chinese characters, but not this one. Hopefully a member might be fluent in Chinese and know what it is at first glace. I'm not lazy. I spend countless hours to translate coin inscriptions, but I could use a little help with this one. Now I can go on to complete my project "coin" in my book. That single word was holding me back keeping me from printing a photo of the item with a translation for each word. I tried every word I thought that could fit within the context. Your answer is exactly correct and it fits within the context of an award for industry.
