I had set this coin aside a couple of years ago when I first started collecting coins because I thought it was in good shape. This was before I knew what I was doing. Well, two years later, I still barely know what I'm doing, but I went back and looked at this one and think I see what might be my first Jefferson RPM? I know it's clearly LDS on the reverse, but I don't see any MD on the surrounding devices that would make me think that this is anything other than an RPM. What do you guys think?

I don't think it is an RPM. Looks like worn die.

Hmmmm...might be 1964-D RPM-004 but I can't tell from the photo. In hand, can you confirm against Dr. Wiles listing?

Looks like coin contact on the upright side of the mint mark? If so you should see metal raised upward on that area. On a RPM the area will be rounded. This looks flat in that area.
