If your photos color is correct ,then it looks like a cent that missed the copper plating process . Is the reverse the same color ? Crazy how Zinc rot can happen in just 2 years ! Oh yeah , and what the heck is a JJ ?

Looks like just above Lincoln's eyebrow and to the right there are two J's.
