I have a 1977 Nickel that has no nickel coating. Is this worth anything?

A U.S. Nickel is not clad ,there are no layers involved .
It looks like a detector find ED .

to the forum.

First, nickels are a mixed alloy, not coated. You have a coin environmentally damaged, buried most likely and the copper has reacted by corroding! Nickels are made of copper, nickel manganese and a pinch of tin.
