Has anyone ever seen letters on the edge of Lincoln Cents like this before?

Been squeezed, vise or channel lock pliers (expandable) that would put a straight-line pattern around edge

Have to try that tonight!

to the Forum LW. In case you don't know,PMD as well as PSD, means damage occurred after it was minted. There's a glossary at the left of this page for anytime you may need it. Damage on coins often fools a lot of people.
Find another unusual one and post it, I'm sure you'll get a lot of good help. The more you do it, the better you'll become at diagnosing damaged coins and Varieties and Errors.
