I am seeing a slight spread on the date, liberty, and trust. Also on the B, R and T in Liberty, slight seperation lines, more so on the bar of the T in liberty. But again my name is usually true.
I see what your saying, I'm no expert, far from it, but most Hub doubling (as opposed to Mechanical Doubling) usually shows notching of the serifs, sometimes they are split and pretty sharp. Mechanical Doubling has a flat, shelf like appearance with no notching. for more info: http://www.geocities.com/ResearchTr...tional1.html Hope this helps you, I had to read the back of the Cherry Pickers Guide about 6 times to understand the various types of doubled dies and how they are made. I always check my change by habit. Also try http://www.coppercoins.com top left of page for variety search and http://conecaonline.org/index.html If you already know about this stuff I'll give myself a "ouch" and perhaps someone else besides us out there will also find these sites a reference. I haven't been able to find any 2000-D DDR's DDO's or RPM's just 2000-P. Sometimes it's better to have your name as the discoverer. Anyway Thanks for your post and letting me look busy here at work and making it interesting...
Ok, Chuck, I am sending it to you for attribution. Will follow the rules on your site. I am also sending the 2008-D DDR "extra column" to Bob today. The 2005 coin may be nothing, but who knows. Thanks.
