It's a 100 Mon "Tempo Tsuho" from Japan, c. 1830s-1869. These are common coins worth about $15.

Genuine coins will have two validation stamps on the edge of the long sides at 3:00 and 9:00. I don't see any metal distortion, but are the punches there?
