I really like the "woodgrain" or "tiger stripe" as seen on some of these older LWC's. Thoughts on a grade? It is difficult to grade for me because there is still a bit of luster and certain areas are very sharp (wheat stalks) while others appear more worn. There is a dirty spot on the obverse I have not attempted to remove.

Pictures taken with higher lighting and lower lighting.

EF-40 based on the second set of pics, nice ear but slightly weak reverse. Oxidation spots detract but should respond to Verdi-care with any discoloration being camouflaged by the woodgrain effect.

The wood grain hides some detail, but it looks like XF-45 sharpness to me.

VF-35 , A very pronounced Woodie . A couple of spots of corrosion may or may not be a problem . Clean this sucker up with Verdi-Care and it just might have some enticing eye appeal .
