Check eBay sold values for an idea. John1
( I'm no pro, it's just my humble opinion ) Searched 6.5 +/- Million Cents Since 1971

UNC is roughly $200-250 for 1936, note they are easy to find at or below EF and beware of cleaning.

Dealer buying price would be A$20-$50 for 1936 Unc.Penny,i have a couple myself. It would have to be faultless to get anywhere near Book value, best options are Ebay at A$100-$200 and just wait for the right buyer or an Auction where you can set a reserve. Just my opinion.

These two coins are, unfortunately, nowhere near uncirculated condition. That green stuff you can see on them is corrosion. This cannot be removed from the coin without the coin becoming "cleaned", and a cleaned 1936 penny is basically only worth scrap metal value (5 to 10 cents) because coin collectors do not want to own one.

LOL basil. Agree with SAP that first in VF with corrosion and that second one is scrap as its F but has been bent so no good. Yeah search uncirculate coin and compare yours is no were near that, basically untouched as if it was minted yesterday.
