Your coin is typical for the 50's wheat cents. The dies were way over used. So the devices facing the rims are showing die wear. Above the motto. On the left side of the 'L' on Liberty. Note 'Y' on your coin on Liberty, then move your eyes across the other devices. See how much wider the devices are getting when the die wear is noticed. on the 'L'?
