dbeck22 Valued Member United States 117 Posts	Posted 11/08/2019 6:49 pm The doubling is all in the correct location, but the image looks more like one really thick image than 2 images. If you think about the damage that bound to happen to a die over time, it seems like it is possible to have an outcome similar to this coin..... Its really hard to get the picture I want, but I hope you understand what I mean. Look closely at the pics. The only pic where you can see 2 distinct images is when it looks like a negative photo or something because of the angle I am at.. ( I am taking a picture of the screen of a magnifier) Also on the word TRUST you can see 2 R's for sure Let me know what you all think. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

The die was noticed and pulled and there are probably less than 100 of these coins. (probably a lot less) Your coin is not one of them. Everyone looks at the dates. Look at the Liberty and Motto instead. With so many examples of MD on the 1968-1972 cents, people have submitted 133 of the MD examples to be slabbed, that were like your coin, Machine doubled.
