2000 P Kennedy Half-Dollar Possible Reverse Rim Error?

The lettering on the reverse looks like they stamped into the rim making it appear rimless by eye. Found it in a roll from the bank and thought it was interesting none the less because it the first one I've seen like it.

Any advice or info to point me in the right direction on figuring out what it could be is appreciated!

Note- on the reverse image, where it's extra "shiny" is where I believe the rim should be.
Note- coin weighs 11.1 gram
