Hi everyone, as I'm scrounging thru a few 30's wheaties, I stumble upon this. It seems to have the markers in a VLDS? Maybe? I really can't figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.

@John1 thanks for having a look and sharing Coppercoins attribution. That's one of the sites I use as well. I'm trying to figure out how to create a overlay of the 93 of the date like they did to better determine what those marks below the date are. I think Coop had a post explaining how to create overlays. Going to pull that up when I get home. If nothing else, at least I'll know how to create overlays

The shape of the 'E' on WE is always a nice clue:

They tend to look like Elf shoes.

Nice catch John, he has images of DD0-002, but they do show the "Elf Shoe E" very nicely.

Also, from the OP's comment,
Quote:
what those marks below the date are
it sounds like they thought they had FS#101 (DDO-004/1DO-002/WDDO-006)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

I know it's not the same die. My point of showing the images was missed? On the DDOs that year, the E on WE shows an odd shape on that device.

Note the images of the DDO on the 'WE' area?
