I've found another one! This is by far the nicest IHC I've found CRH. It's got some wear, but most of the devices are pretty visible.
So here's my question. It's got some white spots and it looking a little grimy. I know better than to clean it, but how do I slow/stop decay from spreading without damaging it?
Now my wife has some 100% acetone nail polish remover, but that feels like a very risky idea. Does anyone have some preferred brands or Amazon links they'd be willing to share?
Verdi-care is sound advice, but if you don't really have much other need for the product. it probably isn't forth the cost for a coin only worth about a dollar. Not to worry, this coin looks very stable and is unlikely to deteriorate from this point.
Not that I condone using your wife's nail polish remover if you don't have Acetone , but in this case with a common 1 to 3 dollar IHC I say go ahead and use it . when your done make sure the coin gets a good rinse in distilled water .
