Found a strange one today, any ideas on what is going on with this half dollar?

If the weight is under, it may have been acid dipped. Spendable coin.

Thanks for the reply. It is a bit light at 11.1. This might be a dumb question but why would it have been acid dipped?

Someone was bored. They try to alter coins to make someone think it is a mint error and get more money for it. We seen this many times before. Just a spender.

Interesting. My have been exposed to a heat source--possibly a hobby-grade butane torch--then dipped in acid to 'clean it up' some. Oh the things coins endure.
