How can a quarter have two different MM? These two picture same from the same quarter.

Start looking for a seam on the edge or rims. It's two quarters cut down and put together. Good for a rigged coin flip.

It is on the inside of the rim on the lower quarter. This one is not the right one to make. Most coin tosses chose heads. The two tails would be a better one to use if you were going to cheat someone.

Magicians coin. You can see the seam all along the edge on the D mintmark side.

I would actually love one of each these to show people (and to always win) I have people daily asking me about coins or errors. It's almost always just a bent or damaged roadkill coin. Even though it's a Magicians coin if found in circulation it would a fun find.
