My first lamination error find. Surprised to find it over here in Canada after 60+ years of circulation. What do you guys think? I like it:) I have yet to check it under my scope. I'm not sure what going on with the bottom of the I in five.

My pajamas really bring out the errors in error coins lol:p I'll check it under my scope tonight to get a better look.thanks guys!

That's the only thing I could think of the the I as well. I'll get a better look tonight. The coin is in rough shape and I'm not sure of much premium in this shape. Since it's the first one I have found though I'm really happy to add it to my error collection.

I don't think there's much numismatic interest without major lamination, but it's cool you were able to find one! Definitely a keeper!

After looking under my scope I can confidently say what's going on around the F and I in five cents is also part of the lamination and not damage. I apologize for the screen shot but the lam is obvious. I though it might be more on this area.

There is heavy MD on the obverse as well

Edit: I know it's not valuable but I'm happy to find any new error especially on an American coin over here in Canada after so long in circulation.

Anyone know what's going on with the blob on the lam above the monument is? Just part of the lamination issue but no split?
