It tends to make me feel somewhat like I am wasting my time box searching etc. If my 46 year old dollar is still only worth a $1, and if my errored die crack quarter is only worth face value of $.25 I am not sure why I look for errors or save older coins other than the fact I enjoy it, but I also was hoping I am also gaining some value with my collection for my kids and grandkids. Maybe I should be silver hunting halves rather than saving old pennies, nickels, dimes, and half's. But I understand any coin is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Thanks again. All experienced collectors have piles of mistakes, and no one has more than I do over the past 60 years.
