The multiple areas of rim damage would generate a "Details" grade at a grading service such as PCGS. I would call it VF-35 Details.

At first glance I thought it was counterfeit.. But I would guess xf details with dents / dings / cleaned / Environmental damage.

Of course, this very common coin is not a candidate for professional grading. It's perfect for tossing into a silver stash. Or, it would be an excellent pocket piece and/or golf marker!

It appears genuine, which unfortunately is not a given with this common-date Morgan.

It is worth melt-value -- plus any enjoyment you might get out of it. Morgans are handsome coins. You needn't handle it with any particular care, so you can carry it around in your pocket, rub it for luck and flip it effortlessly and confidently before beautiful women.

XF Details
When you hold a collectable coin, do not touch the obverse or reverse with your fingers. The oil from our fingers can leave a finger print toning on the coin. Hold the coin between your thumb and index finger on the edge of coin.
